Position trading is a longer-term trading approach where you hold positions for weeks or months. It is less concerned with short-term market fluctuations and more with the performance over time. It relies heavily on fundamental analysis, although technical analysis can play a role. Position traders do not trade actively, with many placing less than 10 trades a year.
